The 99% Done List
Welcome! If you’ve landed on this page it’s because I’ve sent you the secret link. Yay!
I started this project with the intention of bringing you along for the ride. You can see all my In The Studio updates here: https://alexmitchellartist.substack.com/s/in-the-studio
It’s a lovely free space where I share my progress in chronological order with pics, videos, and insights along the way.
Okay, so why is this The 99% Done List?
Because I reserve the right to add any last-minute touch-ups. My process includes stepping away from the work for a few days before proclaiming it done. And that’s when I sign the work.
This is the project in a nutshell:
Small Works On Paper, Monotypes:
• Signed originals
• Size: Image is 5x7 in, paper is 9x12 in
• Medium: Acrylics, gouache sticks, and Inktense pencils on 140 lbs paper
Payment: Via PayPal or Zelle
• See info for each Round below for pricing
• If you want a work, all you have to do is send me an email and tell me the NUMBER(S) of the work(s) you want: alexmitchellartist@gmail.com
Notes:
1. I will keep the color palette consistent throughout the rounds to help ensure that any work from any given round will go nicely with another.
2. These works need to be framed so that they are protected. Your artwork has a lot of white space around it which gives you some flexibility with choosing your frame size. Please see my FRAMING TIP at the bottom of this page!
3. I may change the price for any future rounds. In other words, the price will only go up from here.
4. If you wanna stay in the loop, consider signing up for my newsletter. It’s where I share what I’m working on, what I’m writing about, and updates on new videos, products, etc. You can subscribe at the bottom of this page in the yellow section

FRAMING TIP:
Your first objective in framing your artwork is to protect it. You want it sealed inside its frame. And you want a mat to position it so that the artwork is not touching any surface.
Your second objective is to find a frame that you like. And this is where I’d like to give you a tip.
You can take your artwork to a frame shop and have them do their thing. They will most likely make a custom frame for you. They will trim the artwork and cut a mat to size. You’ll have choices in frame color & style, and mat color, too. They might also tape paper to the backside to keep dust out and add the hanging wire.
Having said that, you can also show up at a frame shop with your own frame. You’ll pay them to trim the artwork and cut a mat to size. However, you’re not asking them to make a custom frame from scratch for you. You’re getting their help to fit your artwork inside your own frame. And this will save you money.
So think about any existing frames you might have at home that you can repurpose. Or buy a standard-sized frame from a shop.
